Vin is the protagonist of Mistborn, a street urchin turned allomancer who uses metal-based magic to overthrow a god-emperor in Brandon Sanderson's epic fantasy series.

The mistborn stands barefoot on a rooftop ridge, a knife held low as her mistcloak's hundred strips hang motionless. A high-collared cape and belted trousers fit her slight frame, cropped hair sweeping off her watchful eyes. The base is a steep pitch of shingles crowned by an ornate spire.
